Box Score MONTCLAIR, N.J. (Oct. 17, 2015) – The nationally-ranked Montclair State University women's soccer team scored a pair of first-half goals and went on to defeat Rutgers University-Camden 5-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Saturday night. 
The Scarlet Raptors fall to 3-8-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the conference, while falling to 0-17-1 in their all-time series against Montclair State. The Red Hawks, ranked No. 22 in the latest 
D3soccer.com Top 25 poll, improve to 11-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the NJAC. 
The Red Hawks jumped on the scoreboard at 15:51 after Raptor freshman goalie 
Liz DiCamillo (Blackwood, NJ/Triton Regional) saved a shot by junior forward 
Jennie Hornstra (Clifton, NJ/Clifton). Freshman midfielder 
Ashley Koester (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) collected the loose ball and finished the play. 
The Red Hawks held the Scarlet Raptors without a shot for the first 25:38 until junior 
Kylee Schairer (Collingswood, NJ/Collingswood) had her shot saved by Montclair State freshman keeper 
Molly Barrow (Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey). Montclair State made it a 2-0 game at 40:17 on a goal by senior forward 
Stephanie Gomes (Kearny, NJ/Kearny) from the right top corner of the box.

Martina Landeka (Westfield, NJ/Westfield) added the Red Hawks' third goal at 66:28, stealing the ball in the box and scoring. Landeka added another goal at 76:17, assisted by Hornstra, and senior back 
Claire Midili (Sewell, NJ/Washington Township) notched a goal at 85:05. 
Montclair State outshot Rutgers-Camden, 19-2, and held a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks. DiCamillo set a career high with seven saves in goal for the Scarlet Raptors. Barrow made one save to post the shutout for MSU. 
The Scarlet Raptors return to action Tuesday when they play a 3 p.m. makeup game at conference rival New Jersey City University.
