NEWARK, N.J. (Oct. 26, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team closed out the New Jersey Athletic Conference portion of its schedule here Tuesday night, sweeping its sister school, Rutgers University-Newark, 3-0.
The Scarlet Raptors won by scores of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-15 as they raised their record to 18-8 overall and 4-4 in NJAC play. They will be the fifth seed when the NJAC playoffs begin Tuesday.
Rutgers-Newark falls to 5-14 overall and 1-7 in the conference.
Rutgers-Camden won the opening set behind seven kills from sophomore
Isabella Choice, who hit .700 in the set with no errors in 10 total attacks. Senior
Brinn Hassan delivered 11 assists, while sophomore
Kaliyah Moss drilled four service aces. Senior

Erica Nebrich had six digs apiece.
After winning the second set, 25-16, the Scarlet Raptors wrapped up a 25-15 win in the third set on another kill by Choice. She ended up with 11 kills, a .588 hitting percentage and five blocks (two solo, three assisted) in the match.
Sophomore
Dyamond Free collected seven kills in the match, while Moss delivered six kills, six service aces and six digs.
Hassan notched 27 assists to raise her career total to 1,785, second on the program's all-time list. She also added four kills and four digs.
Fox, meanwhile, notched 14 digs and two service aces, while Nebrich collected seven digs and two kills. Senior
Devyn Cobb also notched two kills, while adding three assisted blocks.
The Scarlet Raptors close their regular season Saturday with a tri-match at Wilkes University, facing the host team and Alfred University.
