GALLOWAY, N.J. (Nov. 30, 2022) – The Stockton University women's basketball team placed three players in double figures as it defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 63-30, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Wednesday night.
The Ospreys improve to 6-1 overall and 1-1 in the NJAC, while the Scarlet Raptors fall to 1-6 and 0-2. Rutgers-Camden has lost seven straight games against Stockton since its last win, 76-70, in Galloway on Nov. 28, 2018.
Rutgers-Camden jumped off to a fast 7-1 start, including the last five points by junior forward
Carleigh Galasso. The Raptors led, 10-6, before Stockton scored the last six points of the quarter. The Ospreys took the lead for good at 12-10 on a layup by junior guard Madison Dulude with 14 seconds remaining. They added the first six points of the second half before their 12-point run was snapped by a jumper from Galasso.
By halftime, the Ospreys owned a 28-19 lead, with Dulude and sophomore guard Madison LaRosa chipping in eight points apiece. Galasso had a game-high nine points in the opening half for Rutgers-Camden.
The Ospreys opened up a 45-27 lead after three quarters.
Junior guard Adriyana Jennings led Stockton with 14 points, while freshman guard Imene Fathi netted 13 and Dulude added 11. Dulude completed a double-double with a game-high 12 rebounds and also added a game-high four steals.
Junior guard Emma Morrone notched nine rebounds, six points and a game-high five assists for the Ospreys, while Jennings collected eight boards and a game-high three blocked shots.

Jalissa Pitts finished with 13 points and nine rebounds for Rutgers-Camden, while Galasso added nine points, five rebounds and the Raptors' lone blocked shot. Senior guard

Rutgers-Camden return to action Saturday with a 3 p.m. New Jersey Athletic Conference game at Montclair State University.
