UNION, N.J. (April 23, 2022) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's tennis team ended the regular season by punching its ticket to the post-season.
Rutgers-Camden earned a berth in the upcoming New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs by sweeping Kean University, 9-0, in a match that decided fourth place in the NJAC standings. Rutgers-Camden improved to 13-4 overall and 3-3 in the conference, while Kean fell to 6-9 and 2-4.
By earning a trip to the playoffs as the fourth seed, the Scarlet Raptors have to travel to top-seeded The College of New Jersey for a semifinal match Wednesday at 12 p.m. TCNJ has won every NJAC championship dating back to the 1982-83 season and defeated the Scarlet Raptors, 9-0, in Ewing on April 2.

Tiffany Trivers posting an 8-1 victory at the top spot. Sophomore

Laurel DiStefano earned an 8-2 victory at second doubles, while seniors
Morgan Dempsey and
LeAnne Hall combined for an 8-4 win at third doubles.
Ahrens completed her day with a 6-1, 6-1 win at first singles, while Hoban won her match at second singles, 6-2, 6-0.
Trivers rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 10-5 victory at third singles and DiStefano posted a 6-2, 6-1 win at the fourth flight. Hall won, 6-2, 6-0, at fifth singles and Dempsey wrapped up a 6-4, 6-4 victory at sixth singles.
