Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Ryan Dick has posted numerous accomplishments during his short time at Rutgers-Camden since transferring from Virginia Tech. One of the Scarlet Raptors’ A Team members, he averaged 76.5 last fall while playing in all eight rounds, helped the team win its last four invitationals of the semester and contributed to back-to-back team scores of 283, establishing new Rutgers-Camden program records.
 
During his first year with the Scarlet Raptors (2015-16), Dick captured All-North Eastern Athletic Conference First Team honors, was named the NEAC Rookie of the Year and helped lead Rutgers-Camden to its fourth straight NEAC title and fourth consecutive berth in the NCAA Division III Golf Championships.
 
Over his three semesters at Rutgers-Camden, Dick has played in 20 rounds, posting a 79.5 average.
 
Academically, Dick was a member of the inaugural Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2015 semester. He added AD Honor Roll status for the Fall 2016 semester as well.
 
Fall 2016: Averaged 76.5 over eight rounds, the fourth-best average on the Scarlet Raptors during the fall semester…Finished third on the team and tied for 12th of 64 overall at the season-opening Moravian Invitational (Sept. 12), carding a 78…Shot a 77 at the Ursinus Invitational (Sept. 27) to finish fourth on the Raptors’ team and tied for 11th of 52 golfers overall…Earned Second Team All-Tournament honors at the ECAC Div. III Mid-Atlantic Golf Championships (Oct. 1-2) with a 72-73—145 score to place second on the team and tie for seventh of 91 overall…Finished fourth on the team at both the Stockton Invitational (Oct. 12, carding an 82 to tie for eighth of 25 overall) and the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Oct. 17 with a 75, tying for 24th of 86 overall) as the Scarlet Raptors won both events to begin a season-ending four-invitational winning streak…At the Franklin & Marshall event, his 75 helped Rutgers-Camden set a program team record with a 283…Helped the Raptors tie their team record of 283 in winning the Eastern Invitational (Oct. 19), carding a 73 to tie for third on the team and tie for seventh of 34 overall…Finished fifth on the Raptors’ A Team and tied for 12th of 39 overall, shooting an 82 at the season-ending RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 24).

 
Spring 2016: Played in all eight rounds for the Raptors during the spring season, averaging 81.5 (fifth on the team)…Earned NEAC First Team and Rookie of the Year honors…Shot a two-day 80-74—154 total at the NEAC Championships (April 23-24) to finish second on the Scarlet Raptors and fourth of 41 overall…Tied for 188th of 210 at the NCAA Championships (May 10-11) with a two-day total of 88-81—169…Played as an individual in the season-opening Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 16) and tied for ninth of 40 golfers with a round of 81…Finished fifth on the Raptors’ A Team and seventh of 22 overall with an 85 at the Stockton Invitational (March 30)…Was third on the A Team and tied for fifth of 61 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational (April 4), shooting a 78…Finished tied for 44th of 80, playing as an individual and shooting an 85 at the Messiah Falcon Classic (April 19).
