Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Jonathan Hardy joined the Rutgers-Camden basketball program during the 2024-25 season after playing two years at Eastern University. In his first year at Rutgers-Camden, Hardy earned academic honors in both semesters.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student…One of only 41 athletes on the 180-member Spring 2025 AD Honor Roll to earn a 4.0 GPA.
 
Basketball 2024-25: Appeared in all 24 Rutgers-Camden games…Averaged 0.7 points and 0.4 rebounds…Added eight assists, four steals and two blocked shots…Shot 6-for-37 (.162) from the floor, including 4-for-32 (.125) from three-point range…Shot 1-for-2 (.500) from the foul line…Made his Rutgers-Camden debut against Penn State-Lehigh Valley (Nov. 9), collecting one rebound…Dished off his high of  three assists against FDU-Florham (Nov. 13)…Scored his first Raptor points with a three-pointer against Alvernia (Nov. 19), while adding two rebounds and one assist…Also ha two rebounds against New Jersey City (Feb. 19)…Collected his high of six points against Stockton (Jan. ), shooting 2-for-3 from three-point range.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two years for the Eagles at Eastern University, appearing in eight games and collecting two points, two rebounds, one steal and one assist…Appeared in three games as a freshman in 2022-23 and five games as a sophomore in 2023-24.
 
High School:  Basketball letterman at Annapolis Area Christian School…Graduated in 2022.
 
Personal: Born January 17, 2004…Health Sciences major at Rutgers-Camden…Jonathan is the son of Roxie Hardy of Bowie, Maryland.
